FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Please reach us at wrapstudioaz@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

There is no straight forward answer to this, but overall most premium films will last 3 to 5 years while standard films normally last around 2 years. This may vary depending on how well you take care of the wrap. One thing we do highly recommend for optimal results and longer durability is to Ceramic Coat your wrap. This adds an extra layer of UV protection as well as making it easier to maintain.

The answer to this question really comes down to the condition of the paint on the vehicle. If the paint on the vehicle isn’t in great condition or the vehicle has been previously repainted (especially poorly) there is a great chance of paint damage / paint peeling at removal.

The great question is always, can you wash a wrapped car? Yes! yes you can, and we recommend to always do so by hand washing it. Do not use pressure washers or any abrasive chemicals to wash the wrap. A standard car wash soap with no wax works perfectly fine.
Many people are under the impression that car wraps nowadays cost more than a paint job, and that is because people tend to compare a professional wrap installation vs a lower end paint job. Realistically a paint job costs a lot more than a car wrap, especially if you are comparing a great professional paint job vs a great professional wrap installation.
To get the best results when wrapping a vehicle it is normally recommended by wrap film manufacturers that the vehicle being wrapped is in great condition, however that does not mean you cannot wrap your vehicle. In fact, most vehicles that we wrap have minor imperfections such as rock chips and scratches. If imperfections are present, you will still see an impression of the scratch / dent or rock chip on the wrap since it is basically a sticker over your paint but many times less noticeable. For absolute best results we do recommend getting repairs taken care of before wrapping.
Car wrap cost can vary per vehicle and type of car wrap film being used. On average most vehicles we wrap will cost around $2800 using great quality films. More exotic colors like color changing/iridescent wraps will cost on average around $3800 to wrap. If you are in the market for a vehicle wrap you will notice that car wrap cost can also vary greatly depending on your location and level of expertise of the wrap installer. Our car wrap pricing does tend to be a little on the lower end for our city due to us being a smaller shop with less overhead however all of our vehicles receive the same high level of quality on all aspects of the wrap installation process.
